Why I love her so so much:
I aspire to be as cool and confident as her. She's super stylish and she's just chill 100% of the time. I can't tell if she's an outgoing introvert, or an extrovert who doesn't mind being alone. Whichever it is, I think I'm also that. Dare I say... she just like me fr. Also, she's really funny. Every time she's on screen you can't help but smile. Her witty banter with Tomosane could have been the entirety of Subahibi and I would have still given it a 10/10. tldr yuki so kyuteeeee!

Why she's my fav:
Kirino is a model, a track-star, and the most popular student in her class, but in her down time she's the same kind of degenerate otaku her friends make fun of. Now I'm not exactly living the perfect model life like Kirino, but I can totally relate to having to hide your interests from your friends. My otaku-ness is something I'm keeping strictly online, since I know my IRL friends would judge me. Aside from how I relate to her though, Kirino is just a really likeable and realistic character. She's kinda cold and rude at the start of the story, but she has her reasons for it. When I first watched Oreimo, I wasn't actually expecting to like it (due to the show's bad reputation). Because of Kirino though, I watched both seasons and enjoyed it a lot. Also, just on a character design (and or moe) level, she's super adorable. I actually tried to style my layers like hers back when my hair was dark blonde like hers, but it didn't look as good in real life... Moving on, she's also a total fashion icon. Her outfits are never not cute. Anyway, she's my #1 favorite character in like anything ever. How CAN she be this cute???

Why she's awesome:
If you couldn't tell, it seems like I really the trope of a pretty popular girl being a total otaku. Marin is super outgoing, energetic, and confident. She has such a cool fashion style, and she's always so adorable. I binged the entire anime in 2 days, and I was so sad there wasn't a second season. I don't usually read manga, but I read every single chapter and it's just so amazing. I reccomend both the manga and anime to anyone who's interested in romance, art, or otaku culture. One of my favorite parts of the series is seeing Marin get excited to cosplay her favorite characters. It really makes me wanna try cosplay myself. Maybe I'll start with cosplaying Marin ♡〜٩( ˃▿˂ )۶〜♡
